Do you come from Israel?  On the roof of this appartment there is a selfmade solar panel and a water tank in which the warm water accumulates when there is sunshine. (When there is no sun, then you can light the gas on the kitchen stove under a special metal pipe.) At the moment I would like to replace this solar equipment with the new system MEGASOL 120L. This system is manufactured in Israel and empty its weight is only 20kg. I hope to find a guest coming from Israel, who will bring me such a system in his luggage in return for being able to stay in the appartment for one week. (Reinhard, Dezember 2002)

Follow up: I had sent 530 US$ to Amir Suissa for one Megasol 120L including air freight from Israel to Barcelona. The money had arrived in Israel in February 2003, but the equipment has never arrived in Barcelona. I have tried to email and phone, but no response.

I let my appartment only to 1-3 nonsmokers who understand what Volt and Watt mean (125V). I prefer to rent to people who live in the area of Zurich who I can give the keys personally.

People always ask me, where the appartment is located exactly. However I do not tell this until I feel I can trust a person who wants to know. So far I only tell that the appartment can be found on all the post cards at the end of this page.

Some of my guest combine their Barcelona holidays with a few days in a little town by the sea and spend a few days with my friend in Canet de Mar.

If you have been in the appartment and if you have forgotten to write an entry into the guest book then you have here an other chance to write something into the Online Guestbook.

You can reach me at the following email address:
Maybe you are also interested in my house for guest
near Zurich or in my little summer house in Ticino tell.zapfig.com. Those former guests, who have been in my holiday apartment in Barcelona before November 2005 and who be will the first ones to book and confirm the dates for a weekend or a few days in my summerhouse in Ticino, will stay there for free. (This offer is only made here on this page.)

Every year I spend one day at the olive harvest.

Speaking a little bit of Catalan can open many doors for you when you are in Barcelona. If you want, before you travel, learn some Catalan or Spanish in an entertaining and economical way, then I recommend you to get a CD of the "Talk Now!" Multimedia CD-Rom Series from EuroTalk interactive (www.eurotalk.co.uk).
